Giving Gen Y What They Want, the Way They Want It

Robbie Wright recently commented on Ron Shevlin's I Must Be a Gen Y'er post that he'd love to get his account balances via RSS feed. Today I saw on NetBanker that Amplify FCU has come darn close to making Robbie's wish come true with MoneyTracker, a personal finance tool that allows members to turn any search on their account into instant alerts via personal RSS feed, e-mail, or text message. Members can receive alerts any time a transaction over a specified amount occurs, when a direct deposit is posted, or when an automatic bill payment is deducted.

My colleague, Lisa Hochgraf, recently posted on CUES Skybox that young consumers are insanely reachable, we just need to know how. It seems to me that Amplify FCU has figured it out.
