Maybe it’s my imagination, but it seems that a few hours after I post an entry on Hawthorne CU's Looking out for You blog, one of my other writers posts one too. Maybe it’s a competition to be the top dog in the pile. Kind of like that game you played as a kid with everyone’s hands in a stack and the objective to move your hand to the top of the stack when it reaches the bottom.
Maybe it is just my imagination. I sit back after posting to enjoy seeing my work at the top of the blog. Ah, satisfaction. The next day it’s below the scroll line and someone else’s title is at the top. Grrr. I know that ultimately that’s the goal: to have many people contributing so the blog is viable and interesting to many people. My ego is in conflict with this goal!
