Last week Mike Corwin reminded me of one of the reasons I work at CUES.
It's because credit unions and their employees do cool stuff. Not just kind of cool stuff. But heartfelt, meaningful, really cool stuff that makes the world better. And they have such great attitudes about it. They truly embody the idea of people helping people.

Wiring relatively small amounts of money to a small town in the Philippines sometimes spelled extra footwork with several international banks, but OSU FCU Financial Services Consultant Louise Barker shrugs off praise from the member she helped. “That’s why we work here,” she said. “We don’t have to be big money movers to make a difference.”
Way to go, Louise! It's my privilege to hear about and write about the way CU employees help people every day--whether it's reaching around the globe with funds transfers or improving the member experience on line. That's why I work here!
