CUES Experience News

It's a tough time for credit unions right now. We're facing one of the most challenging times in our history. And although credit unions recognize the need for ongoing professional development, many are under increasing pressure to reduce travel and other controllable expenses. To that end, CUES is canceling the 2009 CUES Experience that was scheduled for April 14-17 in Denver. While CUES Experience offers cutting-edge content and invaluable cross-industry perspective, we feel the decision to cancel the event is in the best interest of our members and the industry as a whole.

While it is disappointing that we will not be able to convene in Denver to share ideas, network, and visit innovative businesses, we aren't just dropping our program. CUES' mission is to educate and develop credit union CEOs, directors, and future leaders, and we are committed to delivering professional development through alternative methods. There are just too many good ideas and great speakers to let them slip away. So, CUES will be offering content equivalent to CUES Experience breakout sessions through other means. In addition, CUES Golden Mirror Awards™ winners will be recognized through a variety of media channels. Keep checking cues.org and this blog for more information.

CUES will continue to follow its mission and provide credit union leaders with the best professional development opportunities in the movement.
