A short while ago, I joked on this blog about how we editorial folks at CUES were wondering if we could fill an entire blog with the prolific work of the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. In the earlier post, I thanked the expert types whose articles we read to keep up on the agency's activity and republished a blog post from CliftonLarsonAllen LLP about the new mortgage disclosure forms.
Here we go again ... with more CFPB proposals and more thanks to the experts. As part of your efforts to take stock in all the agency is doing, read two new posts from CliftonLarsonAllen's financial institutions group principal, John Zasada. One covers the recently released mortgage servicing practices proposal, the other the final rule on remittance transfers.
