Bill Myers is retiring after 28 years leading community development credit union Alternatives Federal Credit Union, Ithaca, N.Y., toward its mission to "build wealth in the community."
To celebrate his many accomplishments, Bill's team has planned a party/roast on June 14, started a youth internship program, and launched a blog--Thrill Bill--where people who know him are posting congratulations and stories to help launch this visionary into his next career (a senior fellowship at The Aspen Institute's Economic Opportunities Program and working for the National Credit Union Foundation's REAL Solutions program).
Our team here at CUES particularly enjoyed one of Bill's posts on the blog, "Make New Mistakes," and wishes him well!
