Mary Arnold pointed out to me this morning that William Azaroff has a nice two-part series on his blog about what to do when a blogger posts something about your credit union, good or bad. In part one, William, interactive marketing/channel manager for $12 billion (U.S.) Vancity in Vancover, British Columbia, answers key questions, like:
Why should you "listen" to what's going on in the blogosphere about you?
When does a post merit response?
How exactly does one respond to a blog post?
- How did Vancity respond to a negative blog post (this is a real life example!)?
He also provides his slide show, "Responding to Bloggers: Playing on Their Turf."
In part two, William describes the technology tools that can help you track what's being said about you in the blog world. Good stuff!
Here's a link to an older post that Trey Reeme did on this topic. Also Trey's Social Media: Blogs and Beyond briefing covers these issues. CUES members can download a free copy here.
