Today I judge. The nice people at CUES have asked me and my new friends to judge credit union marketing efforts for the Golden Mirror Awards to be presented at CUES Experience, April 14-17 in Denver (register now!)
I wondered if I would be like Simon on American Idol and say mean things like "That's pathetic!" or Randy and start each comment with "Yo Dog....."
Turns out, I'm kinda like Paula Abdul, trying to find the positive in everyone's performance. They all worked so hard; there are really some amazing pieces in this conference room. Unlike American Idol, it's much harder to sort the wheat from the chaff. There's no Sanjaya and no William Hung. It's a roomful of Carrie Underwoods and Jennifer Hudsons.
