Start 2015 with renewed focus and better habits

For most leaders, this time of year can be exciting, yet also a bit stressful as you tackle all you need to get done at the office and home before the start of the new year. The new year is an exciting chance to start fresh and renew commitments and better habits.

As we approach the end of the year, I want to share two resources to set you up for an awesome 2015.

The first resource is called "Getting the Leadership Edge: The #1 Thing You Can Do Today to Increase Your Productivity by 25%."  In my work with leaders, I have never met a professional who didn't want to increase productivity to gain more time for planning, strategizing, or just thinking. This short report will guide you through four strategies to increase your productivity immediately so you can focus your efforts and get a lot more done. A great way to start the new year!

The second resource is a Goal Designing exercise by one of my favorite business leaders, Darren Hardy. This is the best "goal setting" exercise I have come across, and I use it every year to help guide me as I design my upcoming year. While many goal setting exercises feel tedious to me, this one gets my juices flowing and is very energizing. You may also want to check out Hardy's book, The Compound Effect, and the many resources he shares on his website. It's a great inspirational and easy book to start the new year off right.

I'd love to hear what you do to start the year off right. Leave a comment below with your new year strategies.

Wishing you a wonderful holiday season, and I look forward to connecting with you in 2015!
